WHAT IT IS

For Creators

Publish articles, essays, and long-form content on a peer-to-peer network. Your readers replicate your content and keep it available even when you close the app. No hosting costs, no content policies, no deplatforming. Set a price per article or accept tips directly in Bitcoin — every sat goes to you.

For Readers

Discover creators across the network by topic. When you read someone's work, you automatically help keep it available for others. Pay per article to unlock premium content or tip creators you value — directly via Lightning or Spark, no middleman taking a cut.

tzimtzum

Contraction creates space. In Kabbalistic thought, divine withdrawal enabled creation itself. With tzimtzum, we withdraw from centralized platforms to create space for sovereign publishing. Your words live in the network, not on someone else's server.

HOW IT WORKS
01

Publish

Open the app, write your piece, choose a topic. Content is stored in a local append-only log and announced to the peer-to-peer network. No accounts, no sign-ups, no approval process. Optionally encrypt premium content and set a price.

02

Discover & Replicate

Readers find creators via their public key or through topic-based channels on the distributed hash table. Once connected, content replicates automatically — every reader becomes a seeder, keeping the work available across the network.

03

Pay & Earn

A built-in Bitcoin wallet handles everything. Readers pay per article to unlock premium content or tip freely. Creators receive sats via Lightning or Spark transfers — instant, low-fee, non-custodial. No subscriptions, no revenue share, no payment processor.

Pear Runtime

Desktop application framework for peer-to-peer software. Runs on Bare with an Electron-based renderer for the UI.

Hyperswarm

DHT-based networking for peer discovery and data replication. Creators and readers find each other without central servers.

Spark via WDK

Built-in non-custodial wallet via Tether's Wallet Development Kit. Lightning payments, Spark transfers, and Bitcoin L1 bridge.

Building in the open

tzimtzum is in early development. What started as an experiment in sovereign publishing is growing into a platform where creators own their content, their audience, and their revenue.
